Traditional porcelain-making involves either throwing clay on a wheel or using a mold. Playing with these concepts. our artisans have deconstructed a Blanc de Chine porcelain bowl into delicate hand-made tiles. and then reconstructed it again. The result is a stunning and unusual contemporary bowl which is sculptural and unique. It is equally suited as a decorative piece of art on an etagere. a striking centerpiece filled with fruit or flowers. or a potted plant. With a glossy finish. the uses are innumerable.
